Midsummer New Energy Conference 2009
Tobias' farewell - another beautiful video by Jean backed by Anders Holte's "You Take My Breath Away". A lovely creation. I got to perform my song at this conference - hope to have a video of that soon (not just the one the bottom of this page)! I see something so special in Shaumbra faces. Perhaps not seen before on this earth? The face of the new energy human.
After 3 years of saying I'll go, I'm Egypt bound for the 4th (and final?) trip with a group of Shaumbra from around the world. When I see this amazing video from 2010 I'm so excited to be going to experience this, Shaumbra style. Yes, we make it hail at the pyramids, and the angels do show up as birds for stunning photos, but other than that, we're just people having an (amazing) experience!

wrote for Tobias' returning song challenge.
Corey Lavigne helped me produce the song and plays the wonderful rhythm and lead
guitar. I imagined this song as
an aspect of Tobias being sung by an aspect of me - To-Be-Us....I created the
song to celebrate Tobias’ returning – and wanted it to
have swing, and fun lyrical references that Shaumbra would enjoy - and I hope
you do!

UPDATE: I came in second place and was invited to perform at the Mid-Summer New Energy Conference in Breckenridge Colorado, July 2009. I was so happy to be with so many friends for our farewell to Tobias. What a great experience to perform for such an amazing gathering! Congratulations to Anders Holte, the first place artist who moved us all with his beautiful song "I Am Returning". Check out this video of him performing it at the conference Here. It was a very poignant time for all of us as we shared our last moments with Tobias. (With Geoff wearing what Tobias wanted, along with a glass of fine Okanagan, British Columbia wine!)
